As it is well known for many, Malatya is the city where the world`s best quality apricots originate. Thanks to the climatic and geographical conditions, Malatya`s fertile soils have been serving us with the most nutritious apricots of the world for almost 5 thousands years.

Nutritional ingredients in fresh apricots (fiber, iron, calcium) are retained in its cleaning dried apricots

dried forms as well. This makes apricot a high source of vitamin and mineral in every season, both as a fresh and dried snack.

Drying apricots is a lengthy and painstaking process. First, the produce is harvested and exposed to sun. After, it is kept in sulphur (SO2) rooms in order to remove the microorganisms. This is followed by a few days of extra drying in the sun and dried apricots under process a final refining of the produce.

Eventually, apricots are brought to the factory to be re-processed. Here we wash, sort, re-clean and pack them for final consumption.
